On Sunday, we welcomed Pastor Kory Thurnau from Harbor Light Christian Fellowship in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Kory is a great friend of the fellowship—along with his wonderful family. They attended Calvary Chapel Saint Cloud for many years before sensing God’s call to move to the North Shore. Taking a venture of faith, they have opened up their home to plant a church in Two Harbors. Please pray for their fellowship as they continue to be the church in their home and community.
We often refer to the church as a building—but it’s not, at least not a physical structure. Over these past Sundays, we see that the church of Jesus is not confined to walls—it goes to prison, it meets in Jordan, it gathers around a kitchen table. That’s because the church is people—believers of Jesus who partner with Him to continue the building project He initiated some 2,000 years ago. With the solid foundation of Jesus Christ—the cornerstone—God’s great building project continues.
